I am hoping to update and regulate the family blog. I hope to make it relevant to all and invite you to each contribute. Since contributions have been tricky, I have decided to be the blog master and all your contributions can be sent to me via email and I will post it, unless you know how to get on. Every so often, I will e-mail each of you and ask for some family updates and photos so we can all see where we all are and what we are all doing! Doesn't it all sound like sooooo much fun? ~Jana

Other Family Blogs

Just to let you all know, some of us have our own personal family blogs. The ones that I know about are my own (www.ameboschi.blogspot.com), the Matt and Jenny Higgins family (www.higglets.blogspot.com), and the Ben and Nicole Lewis family (www.benandniclewis.blogspot.com). You can find those as links at the bottom right of this family page. If anyone else has a family blog that you'd like to share with the rest of us, please let Jana or me know. It's great that we can all keep up with what everyone's doing through the blogging world here!

Ray & Maralyn Haroldsen

Ray & Maralyn were married in 1929. Fifteen year later, they were raising 7 children. Ray worked all day as an Electrical Engineer and often a farmer by night. Maralyn kept the kids active and always encouraged them to learn and work hard. One thing Ray always wanted his kids to do, was to grow up and be good friends. The kids are now all grown and have their own families. Despite their variety of talents and personalities, the kids are the best of friends. In 1995, the family lost Maralyn to Cancer. While Maralyn was growing weak from the illness, the hospice nurse commented that the family home was a house of peace. The Ray & Maralyn family has now grown to 79 (not counting 3 grandbabies on the way).
